Effective: August 29, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This policy defines attendance expectations for GCNP Training Academy courses, particularly live virtual instructor-led courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendance Requirement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students are expected to attend the full scheduled course session and actively participate in required instructional activities. Attendance may be required for course completion and certificate eligibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timeliness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students should join the live session before the scheduled start time to allow for technology checks and attendance verification. Repeated lateness or extended absence may affect completion status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Identity and Participation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GCNP Training Academy may verify student identity and participation through account records, attendance rosters, live-session participation, assessments, or other reasonable methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology Responsibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students are responsible for maintaining adequate internet access and compatible equipment. Temporary technical difficulties should be reported to the instructor as soon as reasonably possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Absences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students who know they will miss a scheduled class should contact GCNP Training Academy promptly. An absence does not automatically qualify for a refund or transfer. Applicable requests will be handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and Transfer and Rescheduling Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Departure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Leaving a live session before required instructional content is completed may result in the student being marked incomplete unless the instructor or Academy approves an alternative arrangement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Completion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Attendance alone does not guarantee successful completion. Students must also satisfy applicable assessment, participation, assignment, and passing-score requirements, including the Academy’s 80 Percent Passing Standard when applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conduct During Class<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students must comply with the Student Code of Conduct and maintain a professional learning environment during live sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendance Records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GCNP Training Academy may maintain attendance records for administrative, certification, quality assurance, and compliance purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exceptions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Reasonable exceptions may be considered for documented emergencies, technical failures outside the student’s reasonable control, or other extraordinary circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Policy Acceptance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

By enrolling, the student acknowledges and agrees to this Attendance Policy and any course-specific attendance requirements disclosed before enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
